Self leadership cohort program

Hand picked participants enter this program and make a commitment to participate as they are supported and nurtured along their journey to taking ownership of their career and development.  Program lasts about 6 months, or can be spaced out differently. Participant feedback from this program has expressed that it was “life changing” in terms of the impact it had on their current performance, growth, and career trajectory.

Sample path, which can be customized (and as all programs, can be delivered virtually)

Step 1: Setting the foundation of Self Leadership (Enter the program)

  • Self Leadership (by Ken Blanchard Companies, facilitated by Monarch Training & Consulting): 1 day (in-person) or 3 two-hour virtual sessions.

  • Self-leadership assessment and feedback from Manager + DISC assessment.

Step 2: Support and reinforcement modules (Approximately 90 minutes to 2-hours each)

  • Module 1– Debriefing your assessment, assessing strengths and weaknesses, making a self-leadership plan.

  • Module 2 – Creating your development plan

  • Module 3 – Partnering with your Manager and others – working your plan

  • Module 4 –  Asking for and receiving feedback

  • Module 5 – Getting the leadership you need

  • Module 6 – Getting unstuck – pushing yourself to autonomy

Step 3: Defining Next Steps

  • Post-course assessment

  • As incentive for those who participated in at least 4 of 6 modules, a 30-minute individual self-leadership coaching call to debrief post-course assessment, create action plans, and provide any coaching desired.
